MetalWorm DigiWAAM Project Meeting
Shaping the Future of Manufacturing | Highlights from DigiWAAM’s First In-Person Meeting in Italy
On April 23–24, we had the pleasure of participating in the very first face-to-face meeting of the DigiWAAM project, hosted by ITS Cuccovillo and Università del Salento in Italy.
During the two-day event, project partners came together for engaging discussions focused on shaping the WAAM training platform. Valuable insights from recent surveys—conducted with industry experts, academics, and students—played a crucial role in refining the educational framework.
We sincerely thank our generous hosts and all DigiWAAM partners for their commitment and collaboration in aligning advanced manufacturing technologies with vocational education.
Together, we took a significant step toward equipping the next generation with the skills needed for a digitally empowered future in additive manufacturing.
Special thanks to our partners:
Gazi University, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Solidarity Tracks, ITS Cuccovillo, Università del Salento, Akademisyenler Birliği Derneği / Association of Academicians Union, INTECRO ROBOTICS, and MetalWorm
